After a great lunch, we headed west to the famous Pixie Woods Children’s Playland. Take a ride on the merry-go-round, or board the Pixie Express Train traveling through Indian territory -- but be on the lookout for pirates!   A family favorite for over 50 years.  Open weekends in the Spring and Wednesday thru Sunday from June to September.

After our train ride in Pixieland, we were off to our final stop of the day, the Wat Dharmararam Buddhist Temple in east Stockton.  There Huell discovered statues celebrating the life of the Cambodian Buddha.  The mammoth statues ranging from 10 feet tall gem encrusted beautys to the lying Buddha which measures 50 feet in length.

The temple may be visited daily during daylight hours, year round.  Free of charge, donations accepted.
